Fresh bread on Example Street
A small bakery on a quiet street, baking bread the slow way since before sunrise. Everything is made here, in two ovens, by four people.
We bake small batches through the morning, so there is usually something warm on the counter. The oven board above shows what comes out when. If something you want has sold out, ask: we can often keep one aside for you the next day.
Everything is baked with flour from a mill in Mandya, butter from a dairy co-operative, and as little sugar as each recipe needs. We don't use bread improvers or preservatives, so our bread is best eaten within a few days.
