# Order ahead

> How to order bread and celebration cakes from Example Street Bakehouse, a fictional bakery in Bengaluru, by phone or at the counter.

The simplest way is to call or drop by. We keep it personal so we can get your order right.

## By phone

Call us on **080 0000 0000** between 9 am and 6 pm, Tuesday to Sunday. (This is an example number for this fictional bakery, not a real line.)

Tell us what you'd like, the day you'll collect it, and a name. We'll repeat the order back to you and keep it on the shelf behind the counter.

## At the counter

Ask any of us when you visit. For bread, ordering the day before is enough. You pay when you collect.

## Celebration cakes

Whole cakes need **two days' notice**. When you call, we'll ask about:

1.  The flavour, from the cakes on our [menu](https://bakery.vagejs.com/menu/).
2.  The size: 500 g serves about 6 people, 1 kg about 12.
3.  Any writing on top (up to 20 characters).
4.  Allergies or eggless needs.

A whole cake starts from ₹1,200. We'll tell you the exact price on the phone before you confirm.

## Collecting your order
